Q. What is the Ultimate Rider Rewards card about?

A. The Ultimate Rider Rewards card is an exciting initiative launched by Bavarian Motorcycles in Centurion, South Africa. Members of the Ultimate Rider Rewards card will earn cash back rewards every time they present their Ultimate Rider Rewards card when making a purchase on parts, services, accessories or merchandise at Bavarian Motorcycles’ in Centurion, Pretoria. The rewards accrued may then be redeemed and spent again at Bavarian Motorcycles dealership.

The Ultimate Rider Rewards card is only available to those customers who purchase a BMW Motorcycle from Bavarian Motorcycles.

Q. How does it work?

A. When making a purchase at Bavarian Motorcycles, you, the cardholder, present your Ultimate Rider Rewards card to the sales assistant who in turn swipes it through the point of sale. Your cash back rewards will be calculated by the terminal and your rewards account will be credited with the cash-back rewards earned. Your rewards are available for redemption within 24 hours after making a purchase at Bavarian Motorcycles, where your accumulated rewards can then be redeemed against your next purchase.

Q. Where can I use my Ultimate Rider Rewards card?

A. Your card can only be used at the Bavarian Motorcycles in Centurion, Pretoria South Africa.

Q. What rewards do I get?

A. You earn between 5% and 10% cash-back rewards whenever you shop at Bavarian Motorcycles in Centurion, Pretoria.

Q. Are there any transactions excluded from earning cash back rewards?

A. Cash back rewards earned through use of your Ultimate Rider Rewards card may not be combined with other discounts, special rates, promotions or other reward programs offered by Bavarian Motorcycles, Centurion. The following transactions are excluded from earning a cash back bonus under the Ultimate Rider Rewards program. Labour costs on motorcycle services, any promotional offers, insurance claims, the Ultimate Extended Warranty, the Ultimate Service Plan as well as interest charges, adjustments, unauthorised / fraudulent transactions will not qualify to earn a cash back bonus.

Q. What other function does the card have?

A. When purchasing a motorcycle, you will automatically receive an Ultimate Rider Rewards card to use when servicing your motorcycle at Bavarian Motorcycles.

Q. Where can I get a card?

A. The Ultimate Rider Rewards card is only available at Bavarian Motorcycles situated at Cnr South Street & Hendrik Verwoerd Drive, Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa.

Q. Can I use my card at any other BMW Dealerships?

A. No, your card can only be used at Bavarian Motorcycles.

Q. What do I have to do to become a member of the Ultimate Rider Rewards card?

A. Simply purchase a BMW motorcycle from Bavarian Motorcycles and you will be issued with a Bavarian Motorcycles Ultimate Rider Rewards card. A staff member will be close at hand to assist you with registering so that you can benefit from your membership immediately.

Q. Is there an annual fee?

A. No.

Q. I have lost my card - what do I do?

A. You can do one of two things. Visit Bavarian Motorcycles and one of our staff members will assist you or call us on +27 11 027 9922 and register your lost card together with your full details. We will then send you a replacement card. There will be an administration fee of R20 for the replacement of your card.

Q. Are the Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards really like cash?

A. The rewards are given as Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards earned in Rand’s and may only be spent at Bavarian Motorcycles - Rand for Rand. Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash and or be sold, transferred, assigned or otherwise dealt with except in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Ultimate Rider Rewards card.

Q. Can I use the Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards as soon as I earn them?

A. Once the terminal has sent the transaction report to the Ultimate Rider Rewards card, the cash-back rewards are loaded onto your account and made available. This process takes a period of up to 24 hours.

Q. Is there a limit to how many Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards I can earn?

A. No, there is no limit to what you can earn.

Q. How do I know how many Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards I have earned?

A. You can visit the Ultimate Rider Rewards card at www.bavarianmc.co.za, 24 hours a day; to check your account status or check your balance alternately you can enquire in store by asking an assistant to swipe your card.

Q. Do I have to spend my Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards within a certain time frame i.e. do the Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards expire?

A. All good things must come to an end. That even applies to the life of your Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards. Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards are to be redeemed within 12 months of accrual. So any rewards you have not redeemed for a purchase during that time will be deducted from your account. You can keep an eye on your Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards to find out when they are due to expire by simply logging onto your personal rewards-account balance. Remember if you keep your rewards balance active you won't have to be concerned about rewards expiring before you're able to redeem them.

Q. How do I know my Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards are safe?

A. Your rewards are held in a trust so they remain safe. Similar to making a purchase with a credit card, your Ultimate Rider Rewards card rewards can only be redeemed using your signature by presenting your card and signing the merchant’s receipt. Therefore, it is important to keep your card safe and ensure that it is signed by you.
